From 982 integrated projects at end-April 2026 to 1,000 by July, the project pool keeps expanding — complex molecules now exceed 50% of the portfolio, with bispecific/multispecific antibodies as a key growth engine.

On July 20, 2026, WuXi Biologics (2269.HK) announced its 1,000th integrated project milestone — the latest being an innovative trispecific antibody for Earendil Labs. As a global leading large-molecule CRDMO, the milestone marks a new level for its open, integrated biotherapeutics enabling platform.

As of end-April 2026, WuXi Biologics' integrated portfolio stood at 982 projects, including 78 Phase III and 25 commercial manufacturing projects, with complex molecules accounting for more than 50% of the total. A little over two months later, the count crossed 1,000.

New molecule types are becoming the core growth engine: of the 69 new projects signed by April 30, 2026, bispecific/multispecific antibody signings grew more than 50% YoY. Sell-side analysts note WuXi Biologics' global competitiveness in bispecifics, ADCs and other emerging fields is stronger than peers', with stickier R-to-D-to-M conversion and higher barriers.

Other recent milestones include: MFG8 drug substance plant passing US FDA pre-license inspection (PLI) for a potential blockbuster autoimmune therapy; ANVISA (Brazil) GMP certification; the 25th drug substance plant completing its first GMP batches with zero deviations; and the Suzhou testing center's fourth EMA GMP certification supporting 19 commercial products into Europe. The company's 2026 capex is expected at ~RMB 7.1B (including RMB 1.5B deferred from 2025), up 92% YoY, for domestic expansion plus Singapore and US capacity build-out.
