Samsung Biologics Targets CDMO Contracts Across Four Global Events in October

Samsung Biologics will participate in four major biotech events in October — BioJapan (Yokohama), CPHI Worldwide (Milan), World ADC (San Diego) and BIX Korea (Seoul) — showcasing its end-to-end CDMO capabilities, 845,000 L of capacity and growing ADC/bioconjugation expertise. Its cumulative 2026 orders now approach ₩30 trillion.

On 1 October 2026, Samsung Biologics announced it will attend a string of major global pharmaceutical and biotech events across Asia, Europe, the Americas and Korea this month, using each platform to highlight its differentiated production capabilities and next-generation modality technology under a three-pillar expansion strategy of capacity, portfolio and global presence.

In Asia, the company will return for the fourth consecutive year to BioJapan 2026 in Yokohama (Oct 7–9) with a standalone booth targeting the APAC market. EVP James Choi will present on integrated CDMO services, while Yeonjung Choi of the New Modality Group will unveil research on optimizing ADC conjugation using computational fluid dynamics (CFD).

In Europe, Samsung Biologics will exhibit at CPHI Worldwide in Milan (Oct 6–8) for partnering meetings with global pharma, showcasing its CMO competitiveness, global production network and next-generation multimodality technology. In the US, at World ADC San Diego (Oct 12–15), Marc Studer, Head of ADC and mRNA Operations, will present on key success factors for ramping up ADC GMP production, with Jina Kim and Segyu Oh presenting posters on bispecific ADCs and patient-derived organoids.

Domestically, the company will join BIX Korea 2026 at COEX in Seoul (Oct 28–30), where VP Taeheui Lee will present bispecific and multispecific antibody development strategies. Samsung Biologics emphasizes its world-leading 845,000 liters of biomanufacturing capacity and its growing ADC and multispecific-antibody capabilities as it seeks to secure new contracts ahead of the curve; its cumulative 2026 orders now approach ₩30 trillion, including a $262.18M European CMO contract running through 2033 disclosed earlier this year.
